SPSP is seeking a diverse pool of candidates for the next election cycle of Board members (positions starting January 2021). Members of the SPSP Board help guide the future and vision of the organization and field. Please consider adding your name for consideration or identifying a colleague whom you think would be a good candidate. No prior SPSP leadership experience is required. SPSP encourages nominations of colleagues and self-nominations nominations from both academic (large and small universities and colleges) and non-academic settings. In the past, the print edition of the SPSP newsletter Dialogue featured a list of "comings and goings" as a way to keep colleagues informed as to where a fellow member had moved in the previous year. eDialogue recently asked members to let us know about changes to their career status between January 2019 and January 2020, and have detailed the entries we received here. Year of Ph.D. and the Ph.D. granting institution appear in parentheses.

Twice a year, SPSP gives members the opportunity to apply for a Small Conference Grant. These grants are offered to gift the opportunity to promote research and innovation in personality and social psychology, and provide support to members for developing and hosting successful conferences. Members may request up to $5,000 for smaller conferences and between $5,000 - $10,000 for larger conferences.
